Cupcake Wars
One of our family traditions is to have ice cream together on Sunday night. One Sunday night in January, Mike was disappointed to discover that we didn't have any ice cream. The girls decided to play Cupcake Wars for dessert. There was no longer a disappointment of no ice cream, but an excitement to taste the results of Cupcake Wars! After this, Mike thought it would be good to turn Cupcake Wars into the new family Sunday night tradition!

Happy 10th Birthday Tyler
Tyler turned 10 while we were in Las Vegas. We celebrated with Nana and Troy and Deedra's family. Tyler received a bow and arrows for his birthday and Nana gave him a car DVD player.

Dinner near the Redondo Beach Pier. The Redondo Beach Pier
has a special place in Heather's heart because years ago her
Grandma Martha and Grandpa Bob owned a jewelry and
ice cream shop on the Pier. Heather especially loved getting
to pick out turquoise jewelry. The original pier burned so
the buildings they owned are no longer there. They had a lot of
turquoise rings after closing the shop. Their grandchildren love
to pick out turquoise rings now! |
